2026 Senior State Championships Information and registration

Each year, Volleyball Queensland's State Championships plays host to volleyball associations and clubs from across Queensland. As teams compete for the most prestigious trophies in the state - the VQ State Championships and the VQ President's Shield, awarded to the best performing association or club across all divisions - the State Championships is an action-packed tournament.

2026 Queensland Senior State Championships
Dates: 3 - 5 October 2026
Divisions: Championship / Challenger / Division 1 / Division 2 / Division 3
*Subject to overall number of entries received.
*Entries are capped at 2 teams per Division, except championship division (1 team only)
* Championship division is only open to VQ affiliated clubs and associations

Per Team Prices: $930** + $200 refundable bond
*All teams will be required to pay a $200 penalties bond for each team, which will be refunded at competition end if all playing and duty requirements are met (in a physical sense) and not refundable if they are not met.

**Are you eligible for Regional Fee Relief (trial for this event)?
• The team must be from Queensland, although team members can be drawn from elsewhere.
• All team members must be VQ members.
• More than 80% of team members must be from the region the team is representing.

Regions eligible:
Mid (entry fee reduced to $837) = Wide Bay/Burnett ; Darling Downs ; Southern Down
Far (entry fee reduced to $651) = Far North Qld ; North Qld ; NW Qld ; Mackay Whitsundays ; Central Qld, Western Qld, SW Qld
(note: fee relief will be applied post event)

Venue: Coomera Indoor Sports Centre, Runaway Bay Indoor Stadium, AB Paterson College
Membership: All athletes must be current financial members of VQ
