Tournament Information:
Volleyball Queensland's youth beach volleyball teams participate annually in the Australian Youth Beach Volleyball Championships (AYBVC), Australia's premier tournament for youth athletes. A state teams based competition, VQ is proud of its success at this tournament, defending the President's Trophy as champion state since 2014.


Where: Townsville - Saturday 1st November, 3:00pm-6:30pm, JCU Beach Volleyball Courts (Next to JCU Association Fitness Centre, Townsville)

Cost: $40 trial fee per athlete

National Championships Dates:
Date: 9 - 12 March 2026
Location: Coolangatta Beach, QLD
Divisions: U14 (2013 and Younger Born) / U15 (2012 Born) / U16 (2011 Born) / U17 (2010 Born) / U18 (2009 Born)
*All regional athletes will stay in accommodation organised by Volleyball Queensland for the duration of the tournament.

For members under 18, the first part of this application must be completed by a parent or guardian, who can then add the junior membership by using the Add Member button.  Please DO NOT change your year of birth to suit the adult requirements.  Date of Birth is used as part of your identification and changing it will result in matching errors.

Processing Details:

Submission of this application does not result in immediate VQ membership. All new applications will go through an approval process, and a confirmation email will be sent to the provided email addresses.

Membership Expiry: All 2025 VQ memberships expire on 31/03/2026.

Club Transfers:
This form does not allow for club changes. If you have previously been a member of a VQ club and wish to join a different club or register as an individual, you must complete the VQ Club Transfer process. Details can be found on the membership page.
